Bohemians members and supporters are invited to attend a meeting this Tuesday where we will be seeking volunteers to fill a variety of roles on the club’s web and media team.
Please RSVP to luke@bohemians.ie and you are unable to attend but would like to be considered for any role, please get in touch too.

MATCHDAY MEDIA LIAISON
- Be readily available in advance of home games
- Liaise with management team to produce/distribute team-sheets
- Liaise post-match with media for access to players/management for interviews
CLUBAPP UPDATER(S)
- Learn how to use ClubApp service
- ClubApp is a service paid for and branded by club sponsors Mr Green – we are expected to make maximum use of it
- Provide regular match updates on ClubApp, which in turn now generates our match-night twitter update service
- Run in-game twitter Mr Green Man of the Match poll
ASSISTANT WEBMASTER
- Update club news/fixtures/results on website (a user-friendly WordPress website) and social media as required by club
UNDER-19 TEAM CORRESPONDENT
- Liaise with team manager Graham Lawlor for latest news/match information for website/social media
- Keep website fixtures/results up to date
- Keep match details (line-ups/substitutions/goalscorers etc) up to date
- Provide matchday twitter updates when available – or seek to delegate to other match-goers
- Appeal for volunteer photographers to attend games
UNDER-17 TEAM CORRESPONDENT
(Same duties as above)
BACK-UP FIRST TEAM MATCH REPORTER(S)
- Kevin Fagan is our dedicated first-team match reporter – we need willing volunteers to step in on occasion when he is unavailable
ADDITIONAL MATCHDAY PHOTOGRAPHERS
- Eddie Lennon and Stephen Burke provide excellent photographs for the website/programme – it is important we still have pictures from games when either (or both) are unavailable
FEATURE WRITERS/PLAYER INTERVIEWER(S)
- - While the club programme produces excellent player/management inverviews, this is an area where our website is behind other clubs – we desperately need more player interviews/features etc and need both regular and occasional volunteers to help fill this void
ADDITIONAL HISTORICAL FEATURE WRITERS
- This is an area where we are ahead of other clubs – primarily down to the remarkable efforts of Gerry Farrell and Ciaran Priestley
- We have a uniquely rich history – explore it/write about it/promote it
MERCHANDISE PHOTOGRAPHER
- Harbinger/Sid Alcock provided a first-class new online store for the club last year – new club merchandise photos should look slick, uniform and professional to match the effort that went into this
- Liaise with shop volunteers to ensure photos of new merchandise are kept up to date at all times
FUNDRAISING TEAM LIAISON
Liaise with Jimmy O’Connor’s fundraising team to:
- Ensure lotto (and Christmas Draw) results are kept up to date on website/social media
- Push online sale of lotto and Christmas Draw and other fundraising initiatives on website/social media
