Limerick FC released a statement tonight in which they confirmed that the redevelopment work at their Markets Field Stadium is behind schedule and that as a result, they will not be in a position to use the venue in time for the start of the new season.
This has a knock-on effect for Bohemians as our opening SSE Airtricity League fixture against Limerick had been scheduled to take place at Markets Field on Saturday March 7th.
We will endeavour to update supporters as soon as a new venue has been decided upon and of any potential changes to the time and date of the fixture.
