Bohemian FC condemns unequivocally the racist abuse directed at Shamrock Rovers player Eamon Zayed after last Friday’s match in Dalymount Park.

The club apologises to Eamon Zayed and to Shamrock Rovers for this completely unacceptable incident.

If the culprit or culprits are identified, Bohemian FC will take sanctions against them, including barring them from Dalymount Park.

Club president Matt Devaney called on the perpetrator or perpetrators to make themselves known to the club. “The best thing they can do to support the club is to come forward, apologise and take the punishment,” he said.
