BOHS SECURE USE OF AVIVA STADIUM IN EVENT OF HOME EUROPA LEAGUE DRAW

Aviva Stadium General Views

Bohemian Football Club is pleased to confirm that should we be drawn at home in our Europa League qualifier next month, the tie will take place at the Aviva Stadium.

The club wishes to express its thanks to the FAI for facilitating this.

Hosting a potential home tie at a modern and spacious world class facility would allow the club to maintain the absolute maximum levels of health and safety measures in line with Uefa Covid-19 European football protocols.

Due to upheaval in the football calendar as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, qualifiers for both the Champions and Europa League this season will be a single game each rather than played over two legs.

Bohemians will find out on Monday August 10 who we will face – and whether we will have home advantage – in the first qualifying round, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday August 27.

The game will be played behind closed doors in line with Uefa’s current protocols.
