ROB CORNWALL AND DINNY CORCORAN RE-SIGN FOR 2020

Bohemians v Shamrock Rovers - SSE Airtricity League Premier Division

Bohemians are delighted to announce that two of our most senior and valued players, Rob Cornwall and Dinny Corcoran, have re-signed for 2020.

Defender Cornwall, 25 last week, joined Bohs from Shamrock Rovers ahead of the 2017 season.

Despite missing spells of this season through injury, this has probably been his most impressive campaign to date as he has developed into one of team’s leaders and a real rock at the heart of defence.

Striker Corcoran, 30, is in his third spell of the club and is a firm fans’ favourite.

His early-season form saw him win SSE Airtricity/SWAI Player of the Month for February.

Alas his season was ended abruptly after suffering a fractured ankle against Sligo Rovers in May.

Manager Keith Long said: “I’m delighted to have secured two really important players for next season.

“They are two players who make a huge difference to the team whenever they play.

“Rob has become a real leader among the group, he has really stepped up this season.

“There has been a lot of interest in Rob but he sees his future at Dalymount Park and we’re delighted with that.

“Dinny was in the form of his life at the start of the season and he was very unlucky to suffer a freak injury.

“But he is a proven goalscorer and I’ve no doubt he can get back to his best next season.”
