SEVEN RE-SIGNED FOR 2020

Seven re-signed

Ahead of tomorrow’s visit of Derry City to Dalymount Park, Bohemians are delighted to confirm the re-signing of seven players for the 2020 season.

Vice-captain Keith Buckley, James Finnerty, Danny Grant, James Talbot, Danny Mandroiu, Conor Levingston have all re-signed, while Ross Tierney, a product of the Bohs-SKB Academy, has inked his first professional contract.

Manager Keith Long said: “It’s great for us to have so many of the lads committed already and there are more to come.

“It shows the commitment of these lads to the club and means we can plan ahead as a club. We’re delighted to have been able to get them to see their futures at Bohemians.

“They are mostly very young players who are still developing and have a lot to learn but have all done exceptionally well for the club.

“In Keith Buckley we have a player who has been consistently brilliant for us. He’s a real leader on and off the pitch and is our vice-captain this season for a reason.

“James Finnerty has been excellent since coming to the club in pre-season. He’s been very steady at the back for us.

“Danny Grant has come through our U19s and really pushed on for the first team this season. He’s been unlucky to have been out with injury recently as he was in great form beforehand. But he will come back stronger.

“James Talbot has come in with a lot of pressure on him and has be huge for us this season right from the start. His performances have earned him deserved recognition with being called up to the Ireland squad last month and he is already a hugely popular person at the club.

“Danny Mandroiu.. what can you say about him that hasn’t already been said? He is an absolute joy to watch. Excellent on the ball, fantastic technical ability.

“Conor Levingston has been such a key player for us this season. He’s been a consistent performer all year.

“Ross Tierney is signing his first professional contract and he is a prospect I really rate. He’s come through from being at St Kevin’s since he was a young boy right through the Bohs-SKB League of Ireland teams and has already started to make an impact for the first team.”
