Final Invite

Drawing Dalymount – the Colouring Book and
Dalymount – Bigger than the Game
Thursday June 6, 6pm – 8pm
Members Bar, Dalymount Park

All supporters are invited to an event in the Members Bar tomorrow, which we have been asked by the organisers to circulate with our members and fans.

With no first-team game this week, we hope you might take some time out tomorrow to join them at Dalymount Park from 6pm to 8pm.

If you can’t make it, the book will be available through the Bohs Store and Bang Bang, and the projection will be on in Phibsborough Shopping Centre until June 16.

The organisers write:

This project, developed by Jackie Bourke and Dorothy Smith, captures the unique architecture of Dalymount Park and the emotional attachment to the space.

The stadium was first built in 1901 and has undergone many changes over the past 100 years, with many of the early features remaining.

The sense of place and belonging associated with Dalymount Park for generations is notable.

Under Dublin City Council development plans, the stadium will be knocked and an entirely new stadium erected in its place.

This exhibition, comprising a colouring book of drawings and a slide projection of images and interviews, captures both the architectural space and longstanding emotional attachment.

We look forward to seeing you at the launch this coming Thursday June 6 from 6pm-8pm in the Members Bar at Dalymount Park.

All the best,

Jackie and Dorothy
