The Bohemians U19s and U17s marched on to the finals of their respective SSE Airtricity Leagues today.
Graham Lawlor’s U19s beat Sligo Rovers in their semi-final at Dalymount Park this afternoon with Jamie Hamilton’s first-half penalty the only goal of the game.
Bohs were forced to play the last 10 minutes with 10 men after Ryan Graydon was sent off for a second bookable offence but battled on to claim a hard-fought victory.
At the RSC, Jimmy Mowlds’ U17s trailed Waterford 2-0 at half-time in their last-four tie but goals from Sobe Nwaokolo, Lido Lotefa (2) and David Okpailo gave the visitors a stunning 4-3 win.
The U19 final will be held on Wednesday November 1 at Dalymount Park, 7.45pm. Bohs will host the winners of the St Patrick’s Athletic v UCD semi-final, which is being played this Saturday.
The U17s will be away to Cork City in their final. Time and date to be confirmed.
Well done to both set of players and management teams. The future is red and black.
