All of tomorrow’s EA Sports Cup games have been postponed as a mark of respect to the late Derry City captain Ryan McBride.
Bohemians had been due to host Cabinteely. This first-round tie will now be rescheduled.
Everyone at the club wishes to extend our condolences to the friends, family and team-mates of McBride, who died suddenly yesterday aged 27.
Bohs manager Keith Long said: “The League of Ireland is a small community and this is really devastating news for everyone.
“For a player to die so young, football just pales into insignificance.”
