Bohemian FC would like to invite applicants for the role of Women’s Coordinator.

Bohemian FC are one of Ireland’;s leading football clubs, winning the League of Ireland on 11 occasions, and the FAI cup 7 times. The club are based in North Dublin, and having been founded in 1890, are the oldest League of Ireland club.
Bohemian FC is 100% owned by the members of the club.

Bohemian FC aims to provide sporting opportunities to the entire community. Through the club’s Youth Section we are aiming to promote female participation at both a community and an elite level.

The Bohemian Youth Section has introduced numerous new initiatives in the past year, with female participation being seen as a key initiative in both the near and long term future.

Description
The position will involve creating, implementing, and analysing a strategic plan to increase female participation in the club. This will occur through both the setting up of female teams, and the organising of community events promoting female involvement in the club and in sport.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly respected League of Ireland club with a proactive Youth Management Team on a long term development project. Successful applicants will also learn valuable skills such as project & event management, marketing, and communications.

Skill Requirements
The applicant should possess:

  • Administrative and organisational skills
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to motivate others
  • An ability to produce verbal and written reports
  • Long term commitment to working within a multi-disciplinary team
  • An understanding of the sports and recreation environment
  • Completion of the Kick Start 1 coaching badge would be desirable
  • Access to both email and phone
  • Full driving license
  • Fluency in English
