Niamh signs for Bohs on the back of an impressive season at Athlone Town where she was awarded Player of the Year. A highly-decorated player at youth level where she came through the system at Peamount, she has been involved with Ireland from U15s to U19s level. After Peamount, she moved to Kilkenny where she won Player of the Year before a spell in Iceland with Volsungur, where she helped them win their division, going the full season unbeaten.

Annmarie began her career at Lucan United before stepping up to the national league in 2018 with Kilkenny United. She made the move to Bohemians ahead of the club’s first WNL campaign, making her debut against Wexford Youths in Ferrycarrig. Annmarie is a versatile player who is equally comfortable playing in either the right back or right wing position. Annmarie is currently on the FAI/ETB course in Irishtown..

Jade signs for Bohs from the all-conquering Peamount United side where she won back-to-back league titles in 2019 and 2020. The 2020 season also saw her add the FAI Cup medal to her collection as the double was captured with victory over Cork. Jade is a former vice-captain of Ireland at underage level, having represented her country at U16, U17 and U19 level. Her winning mentality will ensure that she is a key presence at the club during this season.

Erica links up with Bohs after a couple of years away from the national league. She comes to the club with a strong pedigree having previously lined out for UCD Waves at WNL level and she also has experience at international level with Ireland at underage levels. Erica is a strong centre back who will be looking to marshall the defence and nail down a spot in the starting eleven. She will be looking to get straight to work and make her debut for Bohs once the season begins.

2021 will be Isobel’s first season with the club. She comes to Bohs with a very strong pedigree having represented the Metropolitan Girls League and Leinster. Isobel is also a former underage Ireland international. Also adept at GAA, she was offered scholarships in both Ireland and the US, opting for the US where she spent a few years turning out for the Hampton University Pirates. Composed in either defence or midfield, Isobel is a reliable player who can be called upon for penalty duties.

Ally began her League of Ireland journey in 2019 playing with the Bohs U17 team. She then progressed directly onto the senior team to start against Wexford Youths in Bohemians’ historic debut match in the WNL. Ally predominantly plays in midfield where she adds some necessary steel, grit and strength while controlling the midfield line. She can also play up front when called upon and will be looking to continue her rapid progress in the League of Ireland in 2021.

Bronagh signed for Bohs for the 2020 season having spent four years previously at Athlone Town and Kilkenny United, captaining Kilkenny in the 2019 season. She had great success in 2018 with Carlow IT, winning the Kelly Cup, Premier Division and All Ireland Futsal. She was also player of the year at Carlow IT in 2020. She is a tough tackler who creates plenty of scoring opportunities. Bronagh is a strong character whose leadership skills help drive the team on.

Having made her League debut at the age of just 16, Sophie is a player with a huge amount of experience despite her young age. At club level she has already won the League, FAI Cup and League Cup as well as playing in the Champions League, while internationally she has represented Ireland at U17s and U19s level. She had a spell with Crusaders before signing for Bohs and as joint captain, she will be looking to drive Bohs on in 2021.

Erica makes the step onto the WNL scene for the first time this season having devoted most of her sporting career to date to GAA. Her GAA career has been one of great success so far, having played senior football for Kildare for the past eight years, captaining the team in 2017. She tasted victory in 2016, winning the All-Ireland intermediate title at Croke Park and will be looking to add success with Bohs to her sporting achievements. Erica’s sharp eye for goal should see her settle well at this level.

Chloe etched her name forever in the history books of Bohemian FC when she notched the first ever goal for the club at WNL level against Wexford Youths in August of 2020. She came through the underage set up at the club where she captained the U17s. Chloe likes to play in an advanced midfield position, giving her the opportunity to showcase her attacking prowess. Chloe has been capped for Ireland at under 19 level, making her debut against Austria in 2019.

Abbie made her debut for Bohs in the club’s first game at WNL level, against Wexford Youths in Ferrycarrig. The 2021 season will be her third season at this level and she will be looking to build on the experience she has built up so far to continue her rapid development. Abbie is a player with plenty of speed and she puts this to good use in the final third of the pitch, both scoring and creating goals. Her tricky play on the wing marks her out as an exciting talent to watch.

Bohemians’ first season in the Women’s National League was also a first introduction to the league for Aoife as she made the step up from Finglas United. In addition to Finglas United, Aoife has previously turned out for Trinity Women’s Soccer. She is a player with bags of pace and is a deadly finisher who wasted no time in showing her ability at this level. She settled straight into her surroundings and finished the season as the club’s top scorer.

Ciara is a strong tackler and a superb reader of the game whose constant communication helps keep the defence organised from her left back spot. A fiercely committed player, her accurate passing has become a hallmark of her game in her time with the club. She will be one to watch in 2021.

Naima is another player who adds valuable experience to the Bohs team, having played at this level for the past six seasons. Naima began her career at UCD Waves, making her debut when she was just 15. After UCD Waves she moved to Peamount United where she won the league title in 2019. She has also played in two FAI Cup Finals at the Aviva Stadium, in 2017 and 2019. Naima has international experience having represented Ireland at U19 level.

Having taken an extended break from WNL, Niamh was delighted to be back playing at this level with Bohemians in 2020, and she scored the crucial winner in Bohs historic first win in the WNL against Athlone Town. At 26, Niamh is one of the most experienced players in the Bohemians WNL squad and she will be eager to push the team on to greater heights in 2021.

Courtney signed for Bohs ahead of the 2020 season and made her debut in the second game of the season against Galway. Courtney has extensive international experience already, having represented Ireland at U15, U16 and U17 level. At just 15 years of age, she was part of the Ireland U17s squad which qualified for the elite stages of the European Championship Qualifiers in Germany and she repeated the trick again in 2019 as Ireland made it to the elite stage once more.
