FENLON URGES SUPPORT FOR HEARY TRIBUTE MATCH

Pat Fenlon has called for a maximum support for next Sunday’s Owen Heary Tribute Match.
Fenlon, a long term associate of Owen Heary as a player and manager at Shelbourne and Bohemians said it was important that Heary’s achievements were honoured.
Fenlon said there were “few as professional as Owen” in the league in the many years that he has been involved in football.
“He deserves great credit,” Fenlon said, adding that he thought Heary had all the attributes to achieve well as a manager.

Fenlon will manage the Bohemian XI in Sunday’s tribute match (Kick off 3pm, Dalymount Park, while Dermot Keely will manage the Shelbourne XI.
To mark his long and outstanding records with both clubs, Heary will play one half for Bohs and one half for Shels. So, whoever wins the trophy, Heary will be a winner.
