Bohemians men’s first team manager Declan Devine has today confirmed the departure of players from his squad.

Long-serving winger Kris Twardek has left the club by mutual consent, as has midfielder John O’Sullivan.

The contracts of defender Krystian Nowak, winger Ali Coote and Dean Williams all expired and were not renewed at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, defender Kacper Radkowski has returned to his parent club Śląsk Wrocław after his season-long loan spell at Dalymount Park came to an end.

Devine said: “I want to thank them for their service to the club.

“In the case of Kris, he has been a great servant to the club in his two spells here but feels it is time to return home to Canada after spending several years here in Ireland and in other parts of Europe.

“Krystian and Kacper were almost ever-present for us this season in defence and were important players for us. Krystian came in on a one-year deal and has returned home, and Kacper returns to his parent club after his loan deal expired.

“Ali has been with the club for three seasons and feels it is time to move on. Dean and John have regular first-team opportunities here hard to come by due to a combination of things such as injuries, niggles and the form of others, and it was best for them to move elsewhere because they both want to play more.

“We wish them all the best for the future.

“We have a busy period over the coming weeks as we look to strengthen our squad for next season. We have already brought in Dayle Rooney and we will be in a position to make further announcements about additions to next season’s squad in the near future.”
