BOHS IN GREEN

Republic of Ireland v Netherlands - 2018/19 UEFA Under-19 European Championships - Qualifying Round

Congratulations to Bohemians U19 duo Andy Lyons and Ali Reghba for the part they played in the Ireland U19s’ European qualifying campaign this week.

Tom Mohan’s side made it three wins from three, which should mean a favourable draw in December for the elite qualifying phase.

Bohs U19 captain Lyons started two and came on as a substitute in another, while Reghba started one and came off the bench in another as Ireland beat Bosnia-Herzegovina, Faroe Islands and Holland 3-1, 3-0 and 2-1 respectively.

The duo’s attention quickly reverts back to club action now.

You can see them both take to the field in Dalymount Park this Saturday as Craig Sexton’s Bohs U19s host UCD at 12pm in their SSE Airtricity League U19 League semi-final. Admission is free.

Then next Wednesday, the Bohs U19s, trailing 2-1 from the first leg but with an away goal and everything to play for, host FC Midtjylland in the second leg of their Uefa Youth League tie.

Admission to the Uefa Youth League game is €5 (tickets.bohemians.ie), U12s go free.

Members/season ticket holders are asked for a voluntary contribution at members stile towards match expenses.
